Getting to the Cabin
61567 Bearwallow Road,
Bend, OR 97701
DIRECTIONS TO THE CABIN
Find your way to NW Galveston Road in Bend going West.NW Galveston turns into NW Skyliners Road. Take Skyliners Road all the way to the end where it curves to the Right and crosses a one lane bridge. After the bridge you can go Left to Tumalo Falls or Right to a dirt/gravel road that goes uphill. That road that goes to the right is Bearwallow Road (no sign). Our cabin is the second one on the left going up this road. There is a sign with the number 61567 at the beginning of the driveway.
This is where the wedding will be! You will be able to park on Bearwallow a bit further down the road--there will be signs
HOW TO TRAVEL FROM PDX
For those who will be traveling from Portland there are two ways to get to the Bend area - either way it’s about a 3.5 hour drive:
- Highway 26 East
This is the most scenic way to get to the cabin, taking you over Mt. Hood and through Oregon’s high desert terrain on the east side of the Cascade mountain range.
- I5 South to Santiam Pass
This is a more normie way to get to the cabin, four-lane highway vibes for the first hour or so then a pretty awesome drive over the Santiam Pass. You’ll go through some areas that were ravaged by wildfire in 2020 but they do possess a certain haunting beauty.
HOW TO TRAVEL FROM BEND
For those who plan to fly directly into Bend, you’ll want to book your travel to the Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM). It’s probably a $60+ uber from the airport to central Bend. There are also rental cars and shuttle options at the airport.
Final Stretch
The cabin sits 10 miles west of the town of Bend. It’s a 20 minute drive from downtown Bend to the cabin’s driveway. Ubers will probably take you to the cabin but we are not sure if they will come pick you up. We will be providing regular 15-person shuttles to downtown Bend as the night winds down, which you can read more about on the general info page!
